Glendale Recycling Center

The City of Glendale operates a public recycling center where eligible materials are collected, sorted, baled, and sold for manufacturing into new products. Residents may drop off accepted items during operating hours.

Hours of Operation

Standard Hours:

Monday-Friday: 7:30 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
Saturday: 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Sunday: Closed

Hours may vary. Please call ahead to confirm availability.

Holiday Hours:

Open: Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Veterans Day, Thanksgiving Day
Hours: 7:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.
Closed: Christmas Day and New Year’s Day

Accepted Items

The Glendale Recycling Center accepts a wide range of electronic devices and household recyclables. Most items are accepted at no charge, while some materials may require a small processing fee. Eligible beverage containers (aluminum, glass, and certain plastic bottles) may be redeemed for cash at the Recycling Center. Call ahead for current California Redemption Value (CRV) details.

Not Accepted Items

These materials cannot be dropped off at the Glendale Recycling Center. Please dispose of them through the appropriate facility or program.

Business & Organization Accounts

Large businesses, groups, and organizations can open an account with the Glendale Recycling Center. Accepted materials may be dropped off at the facility, and their cash value is recorded either monthly or upon request. Account holders may also choose to donate the cash value of their materials to a designated charity.
